Mouton Noir’s Horseshoes and Handgrenades

I do not have a favorite color but I’m loving purple these days. When I poured this glass of wine, I immediately thought Amethyst. And when I think Amethyst, I think February, my birthday, and happy moments. Upon first taste, it was my birthday all over again. And that’s a good thing.

Ah! Horseshoes and Handgrenades. The blend of berries, subtle acidity and balanced tannins make this the perfect way to celebrate #nationaldrinkwineday with my Caprese Salad and my medium bodied cigar. This wine says class.

Mouton Noir’s Horseshoes and Handgrenades

A luscious offering of Syrah with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is fruit-forward with the structure of a Bordeaux. On the palate, you will enjoy the ripe fruit; on the finish, light pepper and leather.

What to pair it with: Lamb, beef, a glass.
